Today I’m super thrilled to share with you part one of #OperationBraDrawer with one of my two recent bra makes, a Berkeley Bra by Orange Lingerie! I’ve been wanting to replace some of my old, stretched out, no longer well fitting RTW bras and after being inspired by this post by Tasia on Instagram I decided that part of my sewing mission for 2019 will be to initiate #OperationBraDrawer and make myself some well fitting bras!

Today I’m super pumped to share my velvet Fulton sweater blazer! As you can guess from my previous velvet post a little while back I’m having a bit of a ‘thing’ for velvet at the moment, but I’m ok with it because the velvet from blackbird fabrics is just so lush that I’m exited to add more of it to my wardrobe (and yes there is more coming, I had enough of this velvet left over for a top, sorry not sorry!)

Today I’m sharing a project that I stared wayyyy back in may of last year but only finished a few weeks ago, my Brennivin Cardigan by Thea Colman from issue 5 of Laine Magazine! The 5th edition of the Laine Magazine released shortly before my trip to New Brunswick and PEI last spring and I knew that for my ‘doesn’t count towards yarn stash because it’s special yarn from a trip’ purchase I was going to knit something from this awesome collection.

Today I’m bringing you part one of the #fluffyblondemonster’s 2018 Christmas gift, a pair of Quadra Jeans by Thread theory. While these jeans were not ~quite~ ready in time to put under the Christmas tree I did finish the bulk of the sewing on boxing day so I say, close enough!
(Also featured in this post’s pictures is the Jackdaw Sweater that I knit as a belated Christmas gift from 2017, he apparently really likes it as he even wore it for this photoshoot!)
